About the Project
Growth is always welcome, but it naturally comes with the need for more space. VAT Logistics was reaching full capacity; it was high time to call in Vicoma.
Vicoma’s Role
We developed a clear vision for the design of the new distribution centre, ensuring it would be efficient and fully support VAT’s core processes. Various studies were carried out to provide our client with the information necessary for informed decision-making. We carefully balanced construction costs against maintenance expenses and explored solutions for the safe storage and handling of hazardous materials.
Result
A brand-new facility fully compliant with the PGS 15 guidelines for storing large quantities of hazardous materials. Vicoma successfully supported VAT in realising their new distribution centre at the Maasvlakte. Spanning 23,000 m², the building has created much-needed air and space for their operations.
