About the Project
“Design a 150 kV transformer cell and provide the complete architectural engineering, including the tertiary installations.” With that brief, Stedin set us on our way. An additional challenge was that the transformer cell had to be constructed adjacent to two existing transformer cells and on a third-party site.
Vicoma’s Role
We designed the transformer cell and managed the entire development process, coordinating the engineering work of third parties and integrating their outputs. Through construction management and supervision, we ensured the correct implementation of our design.
Result
A seemingly simple architectural enclosure, yet one precisely tailored to safely and functionally accommodate the transformer. Accessibility and safety on the third-party site were guaranteed through careful communication and clear presentation of our plans.
