About the Project
On behalf of Ro-Kwadraat, Vicoma designed a building primarily tailored to one main tenant but also appealing to potential additional occupants. The ground floor was configured to function as a (technical) service centre. The main tenant’s initial brief formed the basis of our task: “Our office is too small. We need a workshop for assembling semi-finished products, and we can no longer expand at this location. With new construction, ideally featuring a timeless design, we also want to reduce operational costs.” This was the challenge Vicoma embraced.
Vicoma’s Role
Vicoma delivered an integrated design encompassing all required functions. The building is striking and sleek, distinguished by concealed window frames paired with a natural stone façade, setting it apart as a cut above the average. Equally distinctive is the combination of office space with a small industrial workshop on the ground floor.
Result
The main tenant now enjoys an efficient and high-quality working environment for its employees. The building’s layout also facilitates multi-tenant occupancy, maximising rental potential. Space was utilised optimally while respecting local planning regulations. The office building, complete with an underground car park in Eindhoven-North, features a fully natural stone façade; a standout element of this luxurious office in a prime location.
