About the Project
An indoor test track; a unique addition to Vicoma’s portfolio. We supported a major US car manufacturer in realising this one-of-a-kind facility, along with a full assembly line, all within an existing building in Tilburg.
Vicoma’s Role
This was the first indoor test track in the Netherlands; and Vicoma played a key role in
making it happen. But the project involved much more. We advised on the layout of both the assembly line and the indoor testing facilities, including a water testing booth, ensuring they integrated seamlessly with the building’s structure.
We also guided the necessary modifications to the existing building; from design and permit applications to tendering and contracting. Our multidisciplinary approach ensured all aspects aligned smoothly and efficiently.
Result
A fully functional assembly line and a unique indoor test track, all housed within a repurposed building. Despite the complexity, we successfully brought everything together under one roof; a result both we and the client are proud of.
